Pressure Point Fan Seminar

A number of students gathered together to learn the finer points of Choy Lay Fut Pressure Point Fan. Over the course of three hours, seminar attendees learned the entire form that is designed to teach critical martial concepts: blocking, striking, neutralizing, pinpointing attacks, and engaging multiple opponents. What made this experience unique was executing these techniques while wielding a fan – a weapon that is both hard and flexible. Much like chopsticks, wooden benches and farm implements, the fan became a formidable weapon in the hands of a skilled practitioner. This seminar gave students a taste of that intriguing transformation.
