ShaoLin Center's World Tai Chi and QiGong Day Event was amazing. So many friends… old and new… came together to create a positive experience for all. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
In addition to another stellar QiGong with SiFu, participants had the opportunity to write an affirmation. These positive thoughts and intents were then joined together and read aloud to the Universe. Truly, it was an extremely powerful moment. Our collective 'message' culminated into this piece:
In this moment…
I choose the highest potential of love.
I believe in myself.
I believe that all people have the choice and power to change.
In this moment…
I choose to acknowledge that the Universe has a plan for me. I gratefully accept that all will be provided so that I may joyfully and easily walk the path.
I choose to recognize my accomplishments instead of my faults.
I believe I do not need it.
In this moment…
I choose to be strong.
I acknowledge my past, embrace my present, and look to my future.
I believe I am smart, handsome, and everybody loves me.
In this moment…
I choose to see the truth and not just what others want me to see.
I acknowledge that God is in charge.
I choose to be more calm.
In this moment…
I choose to embrace my newfound strength, and further develop it for the good of myself and my family.
I choose to always have hope.
I choose peace within, and for my world.
In this moment…
I believe kindness is a strength that conquers hate.
I choose to become a more supportive and positive person.
I choose to let go of all past traumas and negative beliefs.
In this moment…
I choose to connect; to experience.
I acknowledge that there is much beauty in the world; that we are part of that beauty; and together, we are a healing force in the Universe.
I believe that life is an adventure.

I acknowledge that I have lots of faults.
I believe that I can have a positive effect on others.
